Mexican Hot Cocoa

Ingredients for 1 qt jar:

1 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 cup dry milk

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

pinch of cayanne pepper

 

Toppings:

Chocolate chips

Cinnamon chips or Red Hots

Mini Marshmallows

 

Instructions:

Mix first 6 ingredients together in a large bowl. Carefully spoon or funnel ingredients into quart-sized jar. Gently layer chips and marshmallows on top with a spoon. Fill to the very top!

Iced Eggnog Latte

Ingredients:

Eggnog

Whole Milk

Bourbon, Brandy, etc. if desired

Coffee Ice Cubes

Nutmeg or Cinnamon for garnish

 

Instructions:

Ahead of time, freeze coffee in fun ice molds or in your ice tray at home.

 

Pour equal parts eggnog and milk in a glass and fill half to two thirds full. Add spirits if desired.

 

Fill the remainder of the glass with coffee ice cubes. Garnish with cinnamon or nutmeg.

Peppermint Latte

Ingredients:

Warm Milk (heated in microwave or stovetop)

Hot Coffee

Symple Syrup

Peppermint Extract

Crushed Candy Cane

Whipped Cream

 

Instructions:

Pour equal parts warm milk and coffee in blender. Add desired amount of simple syrup for sweetness. Add two drops peppermint extract.

 

Blend for 30 seconds.

Pour into mug, top with whip cream and crushed candy cane!
